Where to Find Us
We
affectionately call our township "Picturesk". Only a
couple of hours drive from Brisbane, you will find us in the heart
of the Brisbane Valley, also known as the 'Valley of the Lakes'.
From Brisbane, take the Warrego Highway and the Ipswich
by-pass through to the north. You will see the start of the Brisbane
Valley Highway at the first intersection, turn right here and head
northwards passing through Fernvale and skirting the Wivenhoe Dam
with its lush green countryside. Just a few more kilometres and you
will arrive in Esk.
For visitors coming in from the north travelling on Highway
One (the Bruce Highway), take the turnoff signed Caboolture. This
exit will lead you out westwards on the Daguilar Highway through the
fertile pineapple growing area until you reach Kilcoy. In the centre
of the town turn left and then turn right heading west again to look
for the sign to Somerset Dam. This scenic drive will take you right
through to the Brisbane Valley Highway junction, turn left and in
minutes you will be in Esk.
The Seventh-day Adventist church is in Hill Street, Esk.
